  •  Aquidneck Land Trust Golf Tournament - Held at Newport National Golf Club , this annual summertime fund raiser brings golfers together for a relaxed day of play on a beautiful ALT-conserved property. The tournament kicks off with a box lunch and wraps up with a cocktail reception, great raffle prizes, and tournament awards.   •   Fiesta Verde Summer Party - This annual fund raiser has become one of the most-anticipated summer bashes on the Aquidneck Island social scene. Each year carries a different theme with décor and plenty of good food and drink. A cocktail reception followed by dinner, music and dancing, a spirited silent auction with fabulous artwork, jewelry, gifts and get-away packages, and a raffle make this an evening to plan for every year. Our 2008 Fiesta Verde will be held on Saturday, July 26 at Newport Vineyards, an ALT conserved property. Mark your calendars now!

     

  •  Conservation Speaker Series - This annual educational outreach program brings renowned conservation speakers to each of Aquidneck Island’s three communities during the course of each year to deepen local dialogue about important conservation topics and issues. Admission is free and space is limited, so community members are encourage to RSVP.

     

  •  Land Matters Walk and Talk Property Tours - Four times each year, the Aquidneck Land Trust gives the public the chance to make a personal connection with nature and the Land Trust’s work. These free tours highlight some of the spectacular and irreplaceable natural resources that we are working to protect here on Aquidneck Island, including wildlife, water, recreation, agriculture and scenic vistas.
