Join ALT and Salve Regina for an outdoor project to benefit the birds and pollinators on Aquidneck Island. We will plant 140 bird-friendly shrubs on a conserved property in Middletown. The new plantings will improve the habitat and complement Salve Regina University Professor Jim Chace’s ongoing studies of migratory birds. Bring work gloves and a shovel (if you have them) and water…we will supply the pizza! Register here.
The site is located at the end of Haymaker Road in Middletown, but please park at the Middletown Police Station. Walk to the back of the parking lot and then left; the group will meet near the Aquidneck Land Trust sign.
Rain date: Sunday, September 30 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm.
