FarmLink Aquidneck: Access to land is a major barrier for prospective and existing farmers in Rhode Island and on Aquidneck Island. There are farmers waiting to get on to land, but the cost of land is often unaffordable, and finding landowners willing to lease land for farming can be difficult. The Land Trust runs a Land-Link database to connect farmers seeking land with local opportunities.
