Stewardship Director Alex Chuman will give an overview of stewardship volunteer opportunities at ALT, focusing on trail monitoring and maintenance as part of the Adopt-A-Trail program. We will meet at the Sakonnet Greenway Trailhead off of Linden Lane in Portsmouth and walk the trail to Bramans Lane and back (approximately 3 miles), depending on conditions. For both new and experienced volunteers. Come to hear about volunteer opportunities this summer or simply to enjoy a walk on the trail with fellow supporters of open space and ALT. Trail conditions will likely be muddy so please wear boots or old shoes and dress warmly! Please fill out our volunteer form before attending the event.

Directions: When entering Linden Lane from East Main Road, drive past the soccer fields on either side. You will see a yellow house. Continue past the yellow house and trail parking will be on the left. The trailhead kiosk is on the other side of Linden Lane, visible from the parking area.
